Option 1 — Twin flanking desks
Two independent desks are carved into the left and right bays, perfectly symmetrical around the Murphy bed. Each gets its own return depth and inset countertop, with arched open shelving above and paneled sides that visually frame the station. It's the Modern Heritage library read at full strength: arches, books, matte black millwork and quiet upholstery. The symmetry feels classic; the integrated lighting and crisp edges keep it modern.
Function
True dual workstations with dedicated zones, built for two daily users. Each side supports a monitor plus a laptop, with small task lamps tucked below the arches.
Tech concealment
Each station gets its own two-leaf bifold pocket door. With the bed down, both monitors disappear behind them and guests see a calm, book-lined backdrop instead. Power runs in separate channels to each bay.
When to choose it
Best if two people work here daily and you want maximum visual calm in guest mode. The cleanest look of the three, and the most guest-friendly.
